Small Wave Surfing
This is where it began for all of us, I suppose. I won’t forget the first time I surfed at Castlerock, Northern Ireland and my arm wasn’t long enough to reach round the board so my Dad carried it to the waters edge for me!
From that day forward surfing became the focal point of my life. Small wave surfing is my daily ritual and all other forms of surfing fit in around it depending on conditions.
I’ve been lucky enough to have surfed all over the planet and competed at various levels. I spent many years pursuing the small wave contest circuits of Ireland, The British Professional Surfing Association and WQS.
